I have been working on iterations of a floorplan in order to inform the exterior. This image may be hard to read as I could not scan it. The entrance is more transitional, so that you have a place to pause and hang your coat, instead of walking directly into the living space. I also think a split staircase could create interesting storage space and separate zones. I propose that the living/dining space extend onto the deck with folding doors. I have also added a "breezeway" that leads to a private master bedroom with a private outdoor space. This segment would be one story while the rest is two story. Second floor to follow tomorrow.... and many details to be refined...
